Description
Frank Butler launched his first Catalina 22 in July of 1969, by 1975 he had built 5,000 of the 22's and introduced the Catalina 27 and the Catalina 30 (the best selling sailboats of all time). Alaina Caroline is no exception.
Accommodations
The vessel boasts a sleeping berth on either side of the companion way, a fold down amidships bed (convertible dinette) and a forward stateroom with V berth.
Deck/Hull
The hull is in perfect condition, and has been well maintained, as has all of the standing and running rigging. The sails are all in very good condition as well, and can accommodate several different sail plans.
Salon
The galley area is starboard amidships. There is a gimbaled stove, drop down ice box, and ample storage for a extended trip.
The head is to port across from a large hanging locker, and has an in suite shower.
There is a lard dinette to port amidships that converts to a double berth.
Electrical/Mechanical
The 7horse Honda outboard is like new, and is on a droppable plate. There is a new manual bilge pump, and easy access to the amidships bilge too.
